Orchestry Updates for August 2026 | Part 2
Last updated: September 2, 2026
These updates were deployed to Orchestry on August 13th, 2026.
Improvements
More Actionable File-Level Archival Notifications
File-Level Archival notification emails now carry two links so recipients can act straight from the message:
a direct link to the affected workspace, and
a View Archived Files link that opens a SharePoint view scoped to just the archived files in that site.
The email layout now also adapts to the screen it is read on rather than sitting at a fixed width, so it holds up on a phone.
Direct link to the affected workspace, so recipients can go straight to the site or Team in question.
View Archived Files link that opens Microsoft's native SharePoint view filtered to the archived files in that site.
Responsive email layout that adapts to the reader's screen size.

Rollout
File Level Archive is rolling out gradually. It is available to some customers today and will reach all eligible Orchestry tenants over the coming weeks. For the full feature announcement, see 📄 Orchestry Updates | August 2026
Open Workspace Reporting Rows in a New Tab
Rows in Workspace Reporting now behave like ordinary links. CTRL+click, CMD+click, middle-click, and right-click to Open link in new tab all work as expected, so you can inspect several workspaces side by side while keeping your report open.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where the OneNote link in a site's SharePoint navigation was broken after provisioning from a Live Template, showing "Item does not exist."
Fixed an issue where a Planner web part provisioned from a template could show "Something went wrong" instead of the plan board.
Fixed an issue where the new template configurator allowed privacy, guest access, and external sharing to be edited on templates that apply a container sensitivity label, even though the label's own settings take precedence. Those fields now lock with clear messaging, matching the previous template experience.
Fixed an issue where Workspace Reporting could fail to load for tenants with workspace metadata fields that were not yet synced to SharePoint.
Fixed an issue where the View Orchestry Report button on the "Workspaces with No Archival or Renewal Policies" recommendation opened the "All Workspaces" report instead of the matching filtered report.
Fixed an issue in the Orchestry Teams app where deleting a sharing link in another user's OneDrive could fail.
Fixed an issue where a File-Level Archival run could report as partially completed, counting files as failed, when the SharePoint search index still listed files that had already been deleted. Those files are now correctly recorded as skipped. No live files were ever missed by these runs.
