A More Reliable Installation and Update Experience

We've made a series of improvements to how Orchestry installs and updates in your tenant.

• Installations now wait out temporary Microsoft 365 delays and continue on their own instead of restarting from the beginning,

• stop early with a clear explanation when a previously deleted Orchestry site is blocking the install, and

• no longer sign you out of the wizard partway through a reinstall.

• Errors that were previously hidden are now surfaced and logged, so anything that does go wrong can be identified and resolved faster.

These improvements are rolling out gradually and will be available to all Orchestry tenants over the coming weeks.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue where the add (+) button was missing from the Categories settings page, leaving no way to create a new category.

• Fixed an issue where users with the Template Admin role could not access Settings > Categories.

• Fixed an issue during provisioning where Teams channel tabs pointing to a SharePoint site's home page were skipped and never created.

• Fixed an issue where a provisioned Planner web part could show "Something went wrong" because of an invalid configuration value.

• Fixed an issue in the new template experience where the Clone SharePoint Site toggle did not save, so the site clone was never scheduled.

• Fixed an issue where the original group owner was not removed after being replaced by the service account during archival.

• Fixed an issue where active workspaces were incorrectly labeled as Deleted on the Reports page.

• Fixed an issue where deleting a custom report could result in an error.

• Fixed an issue where the Reports button appeared in the wrong position on the Workspace Dashboard.

• Fixed an issue where growth trend lines were missing from the Storage Analysis and Workspace sections of Health Check.

• Fixed an intermittent issue where the My OneDrive tab did not appear on the first load of the Orchestry Teams app.

• Fixed an issue where the description text was duplicated on the guest deletion confirmation.

• Updated the reminder text on the Workspace Security Review policy confirmation step to reflect its expanded coverage of Communication Sites and non group-connected team sites.

• Fixed an issue where a failed configuration fetch could temporarily revert parts of the interface to an earlier experience.
