Orchestry Updates for Late August 2023

This month's deployment is all about bug fixes and improvements requested by customers.

New Features

Brand your Orchestry Teams App

We've heard feedback from some companies that it would be beneficial from an adoption and change management perspective to brand the Orchestry Teams app. We've rolled out support for customizing the Team App's:

1. Name
2. Short Description
3. Colour Logo (displayed in Notifications and elsewhere)
4. Outline Logo (displayed on the 'hoisted' app appearing on the user's app rail)

Access this configuration within Orchestry's Settings > Teams Application menu.

One configured, you can view your changes in a number of places in Teams:

To ensure this works as expected there are some important guidelines for the image files. For help on setting this up, check out: Customizing the Teams App Name and Icons : Orchestry Software 

Last Crawled Date and Flag for Recrawl

The Orchestry engine intelligently scans workspaces for new information as frequently as every night, but in some cases only weekly if the workspace has been inactive for a long period of time. Some customers and partners have asked for the ability to see how recently the data was crawled, and even the ability to flag a workspace to be recrawled. 

This functionality is now available - look for in the top right of the Workspace Details pages. When this option is clicked, that workspace will be included in the list of workspaces to be recrawled during the next nightly cycle.

Bug Fixes

• The Reset Status functionality in Lifecycle Settings has been restored to expected functionality.
• Searching by URL in Workspace Insights will now work correctly even if the URL contains special characters like a dash (-) or underscore (_).
• Searching by Name in Workspace Insights will now work correctly even if the Name contains special characters like a bracket.
• Searching by Name in Guest Insights will now work correctly even if the Name contains special characters like a bracket.
• A front end error affecting a select few customers when searching on the Accounts page has been resolved.
• A front end error affecting a select few customers when creating a new Archival Policy has been resolved.
• A front end error affecting a select few customers when attempting to Renew a workspace during an Archival has been resolved.
• A front end error affecting a select few customers when attempting to Security Trim a Template has been resolved.
