Two Step Archival
Likely our most heavily requested feature enhancement over the past year has now arrived!
We have spoken to many of you who have talked about the idea of a "soft archive" versus a "hard archive" - allowing some flexibility whereby a workspace is initially archived but easily restorable, and after a certain amount of time of further inactivity, perform a more thorough archival. This is now possible with our 2 Step Archival functionality.
The addition of a Second Step following an Archive in Place means you can use the same great functionality available in other archival methods, but configure it to execute automatically after a second interval of time has passed.

Improvements
- Guest Request Approvals Now Show the Requestor Name: With the recently release Guest Management features, and specifically the Guest Request policies, we will now show the name of the individual who has requested a Guest be added and include this information in the approval notification.
- Show URL Below Workspace Names in Insights: We've been rolling out a number of improvements across Workspace Insights that help to expose and utilize the workspace URL when trying to differentiate workspaces with similar names. We have no added the URL in the Insights tables to make this even clearer. In doing so, we have repositioned the Workspace Type and Template logo to below the Workspace Logo.
Fixes
- Directory Hiding New Workspaces in Europe: With the help of some very patient and helpful customers, we were able to determine how and why new workspaces would get added but subsequently hidden from the Orchestry Workspace Directory, despite configuration to the contrary. This has now been resolved!
- Failed to Load API Definition Page: This has now been fixed and the page is available again.
- Cloning of "Universal" Teams Tabs: We have improved the reliability of this function to ensure your third party Teams tabs are cloned "as is" when they are part of your Live Templates.
- Update Login Token Method: We have updated the login token conversion method to a more robust approach which should resolve some login issues we've seen with Japanese users.
Temporary Feature Roll-back
- Archiving of Planner plans. Due to issues with the underlying Planner APIs, we are temporarily rolling back the functionality to archive Planner with workspaces. Our engineering tram is working diligently to create a viable solution to this issue. We are targeting late Q4 for re-releasing this functionality.
