Orchestry Updates for June 2025 | Part 2

These improvements were deployed on June 19th, 2025

These features are gradually rolling out to customers beginning Thursday, June 19th.

Reporting Table Enhancements for Workspace Management

Three new columns bring more visibility and control to workspace reporting:

  • Risk Rating: Shows a 0–100 score based on 20+ risk factors like guest access, link types, and missing labels

  • Workspace Insights: Flags 40+ issues like oversharing, guest violations, or inactive content with color-coded severity

  • Workspace Policies: Consolidates multiple columns into one streamlined view

That's not all!  Workspace Actions have been added, allowing Orchestry admins to take real-time version control actions without leaving the table.

Workspace Details Page Enhancements

Sharing Links Reporting

Audit and clean up sharing links across your Microsoft 365 tenant at scale.

  • View every shared link, including "Anyone" and org-wide

  • Filter by link type, creator, access level, recipient, and more

  • See last accessed dates, expiration, and protection status

  • Bulk-delete links instantly (no PowerShell needed)

This helps you lock down sensitive data and prep for Copilot with confidence.

Broken Inheritance Reporting

Orchestry now flags workspaces where folder-level permissions override workspace-level settings (one of the most common sources of unintentional oversharing in Microsoft

  • Identify where folder access diverges from workspace-level permissions

  • Highlight inconsistencies that may bypass expected restrictions

  • Close visibility gaps that native tools often miss

Workspace Reviews (Phase 2)

Workspace Reviews just got a major upgrade with four powerful new steps:

  • Sensitivity Label Review: Ask owners to assign, confirm, or correct labels assigned to your workspaces

  • Privacy Check: Verify whether a workspace is correctly set to PUBLIC or PRIVATE

  • Recommend Archival: Let owners flag inactive workspaces for early archival

  • Search & Copilot Visibility: Confirm if the workspace should appear in Search or Copilot

Bug Fixes

  • Unexpected Guest Name Changes: Resolved an issue where guest display names were unintentionally updated during ETL runs, even without Guest Request Policies. Orchestry now preserves names unless explicitly configured to rename.
  • Settings Pages Now Load for Beacon Users: Fixed an issue where some Beacon customers couldn’t access settings pages due to a backend authorization error. These pages now load as expected.
