Orchestry Updates for January 2026 | Part 2

These updates were rolled out to Orchestry on January 29, 2026

Improvements

Install Wizard – Configure Page Fix

We’ve released a fix to the Configure page of the install wizard to ensure that the global admin performing the installation is automatically set up with the correct default roles and settings:

  • Assigned as the default Orchestry admin

  • Assigned as the default workspace request approver

  • Set as the default account email address for Orchestry notifications

This ensures a smoother installation experience and reduces the need for post-install configuration.

Orchestry Global Admin Access and M365 Global Admin Changes

Orchestry automatically grants Orchestry Global Admin access to users who hold the Microsoft 365 Global Admin role, even if they are not explicitly listed on the Accounts page.  With this update:

  • Users who lose their M365 Global Admin role will also lose their Orchestry Global Admin privileges

  • There is no impact if the user is also explicitly listed as an Orchestry Global Admin on the Accounts page

  • Changes to Orchestry admin access may take up to 72 hours to reflect after an M365 Global Admin role is removed

This update ensures Orchestry admin permissions remain aligned with current M365 administrative access.

Updated Table Experience

Based on customer feedback, we’ve removed the sticky footer from pages using the newer table experience, including:

  • Workspace Templates

  • Health Checks

  • Workspace Review Policies

  • Other pages using the new table UX

This change allows tables to display more rows at once and better utilize vertical space.

Important notes:

  • Some pages may now show a double-scroll experience, where both the table and the page have vertical scroll bars

  • Sticky column headers remain in place for improved usability

  • Pages using the legacy table UX are not affected by this change
