Orchestry Updates for August 2024 | Part 3

New Features 

Recent Sharing Link Activity

To complement the reporting rolled out to support several of our new Copilot-related Recommendations, we have now launched a new Sharing Links report that will provide the total sharing links created (in the last 180 days) for each workspace.

This report is accessible in a new section of insight reports called “Sharing”. KB-AUG24-3-1

Improvements 

  • Planner Provisioning: Improved handling of Planner cloning in Live Templates for customers who have not yet consented to the latest API Permissions. Please always ensure you are keeping the Orchestry app up to date in the Settings > Installation screen.  
  • SiteID Added to Report Exports: We have enabled the ability for all Insight Report to export including the SiteID which will make automation and troubleshooting much easier going forward.

Bug Fixes 

  • Viva Engage Provisioning: Fixed an issue where provisioning was sometimes unable to find the Viva Community’s attached SharePoint Site. 
  • Private Channel Provisioning:
    • Fixed an issue where the workspace requestor was sometimes not added as an Owner to the Private Channels in their request. 
    • Fixed an issue where the provisioning of Private Channels would sometimes fail when Graph was not yet ready for the request. 
  • Archivals over 20k Items: Fixed an issue preventing an Archive in Place to process workspaces that contained over 20,000 items.
  • Provisioning AllowExternalSenders Option: Fixed an issue causing some provisioning jobs to fail to set the AllowExternalSenders option.
  • Recommendation of Workspaces without Customizations: Fixed an issue causing the recommendation to incorrectly interpret the customization of the a site’s home page. 
  • Recommendation of Workspaces with Bad Names: Fixed an issue where the Resolution modal for this recommendation was showing a testing link. 
  • Field Exclusion for Document ID columns: Extended field stripping of Document ID fields to include fields defined in custom content types to ensure these protected columns does not break the provisioning process. 
  • Guest Management Enablement: Fixed an issue where some installations were not successfully enabling Guest Management features for new customers.
  • API Documentation: Updated API Descriptions to correct some sections that were unclear or incorrect.
